Wild Rose and Organic Calendula Salve
Sustainably Foraged Artisan Crafted Wild Rose and Organic Calendula Salve with Organic Calendula co2 Supercritical Extract 0.5oz
This soothing salve is amazing for reactive, itchy and irritated skin. Handcrafted with sustainably foraged wild Nootka rose petals/fruit and St. John’s Wort plus organic co2 supercritical extracted Calendula. This salve is lightweight and absorbs quickly to help moisturize and soften dry irritated skin. My salves are made with concentrated extracts and only need to apply a small amount to get the full benefit.
P.S. This salve also smells amazing because these extract are made without heat the smell is more like live plants and reminds of herb garden on a sunny day in early summer.
•Calendula and Rose both have a long history of use for dry, itchy skin, minor sunburn, and other skin irritations.
Major benefits of CO₂ extracts
* Extractions occur at lower temperatures than steam distillation, so more delicate botanicals are not destroyed
* Carbon dioxide is nontoxic, odorless, and is easily removed from the extracted oil

All of my skincare products are formulated by me and handcrafted with ingredients that are either wild, organic or are approved for use in organic products. All of the wild ingredients are foraged and wildcrafted by me near my home in the coastal mountains of Washington State.
My wild extracts depending on solubility are either cold extracted in coconut MCT oil, one of the most gentle and natural extraction methods. Otherwise I either extract the botanical in alcohol, which is then evaporated off or made into a hydrosol.
