Found Foraged and Forged was founded in 2019 as a way to combine my diverse interests and passions into one business with a common theme, everything I create is inspired by the breathtaking beauty and infinite complexity of the natural world. I am a forager, jewelry designer, food enthusiasts, lapidarist, mother of 4 amazing people, master gardener, science geek and a former salon owner and stylist. I have always loved designing jewelry and in 2012 I began making my own skincare products.

  Jewelry for me is about balance and color that showcases the natural beauty of simple stones. When possible I use upcycled stones and local hand cut gemstones that I surface collect. The Pacific Northwest has an amazing amount of geological diversity including Carnelian, Olympic Poppy jasper, Jade, Oregon Sunstone, Petrified wood and other stones that I find beauty in. Because of the imperfect nature of natural stone every piece I make is unique and one of a kind.

  My path to making skincare products began with my love of food that led to gardening and foraging as a way to source unique ingredients. Along the way I started to learn about the history and current research about how compounds in plants are able to benefit our skin in a gentle, natural way. So I began experimenting with making simple skincare products, after years spent experimenting and gaining knowledge I was finally able to formulate products that made my skin look and feel amazing with an ingredient list I felt good about. All of my products are made with eco-friendly and organic ingredients combined with wildcrafted botanicals that are hand-picked from the coastal mountains that surround my home. I strive to create skincare products that are good for your skin and gentle on the environment.

   Found Foraged Forged is committed to eco-integrity and respect towards nature including practicing sustainable foraging and ensuring that I know where my raw materials come from. This knowledge allows me to make choices that support other small businesses while also helping to preserve the environment for future generations. I believe Beauty is not just about looking good, it also comes from feeling good in your own skin along with a sense of being connected with others and the natural world
