Beach Balm Wildcrafted Salve with Arnica and Calendula
Beach Balm 7g(0.25oz) Lip and Skin Salve
Made in the coastal forest of Washington state with locally foraged ingredients including Black Cottonwood buds and coastal pine sap that is cold extracted in oil for a full year. In early spring the leaf buds swell with a sweet-smelling sticky sap that nourishes and protects the newly forming leaves. This bud resin is also known as “Balm of Gilead” has been used for centuries to soothe, heal and protect skin. People aren’t the only ones that collect this amazing resinous sap it is also collected by bees in early spring to make propolis. I have also added calming Organic extracts of Arnica, Calendula and Blue Chamomile for there ability to help moisturize and soften dry skin.
All of my skincare products are formulated by me and handcrafted with ingredients that are either wild, organic or are approved for use in organic products. All of the wild ingredients are foraged and wildcrafted by me near my home in the coastal mountains of Washington State.
Major benefits of CO₂ extracts
•Extractions occur at lower temperatures than steam distillation, so more delicate botanicals are not destroyed
